SEAN M. SMITH has been appointed the new West Coast editor of Premiere. Previously a senior writer, Smith will head up the Los Angeles bureau and report to editor-in-chief Peter Herbst. He will
replace Anne Thompson, a seven-year veteran of the title, who is leaving to spend more time with her family. Smith has been with Premiere since 1997.
