Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc. announced the following appointments to the network advertising sales division of the TV Guide Television Group, which includes TV Guide Channel, TV Guide
Interactive and TV Guide International. Joining the company are:
ANDY MORRIS as vice president, advertising research;
LAURA KROLL as director, sales; and
LISETTE COSTA as account
executive. In addition,
AMY TAYKAN, formerly multi-platform marketing manager for the TV Guide Television Group, has also been named an account executive. In this newly-created position, Morris
will work with the network ad sales and marketing groups to develop and execute market research solutions that help drive sales efforts for the company’s various products. Kroll will develop and
manage relationships with media planners and clients. Costa will work with advertising agencies and direct accounts on the West Coast to manage ad sales on TV Guide Channel and TV Guide Interactive.
Lastly, Taykan will be responsible for managing ad sales on TV Guide Channel and TV Guide Interactive to broadcast and cable advertisers primarily based on the East Coast.
