AOL’s programmatic video ad platform, Adap.tv, on Friday announced the appointment of Yasmin Sanders as senior director of programmatic TV, AU. She will be based in Sydney, Australia.

Sanders will oversee the private programmatic TV ad exchange MCN tasked Adap.tv to create last fall.

Sanders previously led sales systems and operations at Network Ten, and also worked in sales, training and development at MCN.

“It was essential for the success of programmatic TV to attract someone with a strong heritage in TV systems, understanding the nuances of the industry, whilst also being curious around the technology,” stated Mitch Waters, Australian managing director, Adap.tv.
