Clear Channel Communications announced the appointment of
JEFFREY J. WHITSON to the position of Vice President and General Manager of its Albany television stations WXXA (FOX) and WEDG (UPN).
After having previously served in key sales positions at the Clear Channel Jacksonville, Florida, and Albany, New York, television stations, Whitson became Director of Sales for WXXA/WEDG a year ago.
He has also held sales management positions for radio groups in Albany, New York, and Durham, North Carolina, and was Vice President of the AdMax –Telemedia advertising network based in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
