Will Microsoft Acquire Salesforce?

Salesforce is up for sale, per reports, but will Microsoft become the suitor? Alex Cho seems to think so. Among the reasons, Microsoft sits on $85.4 billion in cash and it would further the company's move into cloud computing and build out its network of application developers. Plus, Microsoft cannot afford for Google to gain momentum. He points to Gartner stats that estimate Microsoft's market share in customer relationship management space at 7%, compared with Salesforce's 16% market share. Cho explains.
