Altitude Digital, a supply-side platform (SSP) for video advertising, on Thursday announced it has partnered with Integral Ad Science, a digital ad measurement firm, to launch a fraud detection solution for publishers.
Integral’s fraud detection technology will be integrated into Altitude’s SSP as a result of the partnership. Once Integral’s tech flags traffic as fraudulent, Altitude says its new offering will filter that traffic to prevent “fraudulent opportunities from ever reaching programmatic exchanges or direct advertiser campaigns.”
Manny Puentes, chief technology officer at Altitude, acknowledged that the new technology “can only filter what [is] detect[ed],” but added, “When detected, absolutely no non-human traffic ever reaches an auction or direct campaign.”
