Austin Agency Creates Tinder-Like App to Help Clients Hook Up With Customers

It seems no one can get enough of Tinder. Or waste a lot of time messing with it to develop their own twisted versions of it for self-promotional and other uses. Austin-based T3 has created a hacked version of Tinder which measures the change in heart rate of a person wearing an Apple Watch.

The goal, seemingly, is to identify potential mates and to demonstrate how the agency's clients can better interact with their customers. Sounds pretty creepy to me but, hey, whatever works.

Of the app, T3 Chief Innovation Officer Ben Gaddis said, “Tinder has a built-in base and we wanted to see how we could do it. We’re already doing wearables development with interested clients and this shows them how to think about customer experience in a different way.”

The business focused aspects of the app, according to Gaddis, are to develop better methods of analyzing the experience customers have with brands and how various offerings and promotions might affect the relationship between customer and brand.
