Dawn Airey, Yahoo’s top European executive, is to leave the company to “pursue external opportunities” after just over two years. Airey, the former Channel 5, Sky and ITV senior
executive who is currently advising the government on BBC charter renewal, has left the company with immediate effect. Airey, hired in August 2013 after a protracted hunt that took
almost a year, held the title of senior vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
