Google announced on its Google Developers Google+ page that App Indexing is now compatible with HTTP deep-link standards for iOS 9, similar to Android. This means that developers can get app content into the search results page on Safari in iOS by adding Universal Links to iOS apps, then integrating with Google's software development kit. With this improvement, Google says it will no longer support new integrations on iOS 7 and iOS 8. Users will start seeing their app content in Safari on iOS at the end of October.
