Mobile agency Ansible, part of IPG Mediabrands, has appointed Mark Power Managing Director,
US. The position is a new one at the agency, which continues to expand globally.
Power is tasked with bolstering Ansible’s traditional services including mobile media planning and
buying. He’ll also explore broader technology innovation such as wearables, beacons, commerce, and content monetization.
Ansible’s US accounts, which Power will oversee, include
ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson and Kia, among others. He will be based in New York City and report to Travis Johnson, Global CEO of Ansible.
Power joins Ansible from Expressible, where he
served as CEO and Chief Revenue Officer. Expressible is a content marketing platform that enables brands to curate, create and amplify so-called “snackable” content across online marketing
channels.

“Mark’s technology and agency understanding,
combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, is the perfect combination for the leader of our US business,” said Global CEO Johnson.
Johnson noted that the agency intends to triple the size
of its operation in 2016.
