Just Ask A Limo Driver: This Casino Is Where It's At

Rush Street Gaming--operators of Rivers Casinos--has tapped O’Keefe, Reinhard & Paul (OKRP) to develop its first advertising and branding campaign. The agency has created a series of videos featuring limousine drivers to convey how the casino locations elevate visitors "experiences beyond the ordinary."

The "Get Out and Live A Lot" series of broadcast and online video ads feature the limo drivers opening  their tinted car windows and imparting "words of wisdom that urge the consumer to go beyond the average gaming experience."

Playing off the perception (true or not) that limo drivers are the most ‘in-the-know’ about what’s hot and shaking in any city, the drivers in the ads tip viewers off that Rivers Casinos are where the action is.

Here is a link to one of the videos.

“Our tagline ‘Get Out And Live A Lot,’ is designed to distinguish Rivers from all others by focusing on the adventure of doing something out of the ordinary, one that is something a little more special,” says Matt Reinhard, chief creative officer, OKRP. “The limo drivers serve as distinct and iconic characters who you trust to give inside information and – in an almost conspiratorial way – they encourage you through a series of ‘window drops’ to go big or go home.”

The campaign targets those living in Chicago and Pittsburgh markets with local spot television on such networks as ESPN, HGTV, USA Network, Food Network and local TV news. In addition, out of home, print and digital ads, as well radio spots will run in both markets. This campaign is designed to expand their typical visitor demographic and encourage more people to visit Rivers.

“This campaign creates a very distinctive voice for our brand in a competitive category that we can amplify across all media and social channels,” said Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming, the owner of Rivers Casino.
