MediaCom UK is making some changes to its leadership team.
The WPP-owned media agency is promoting Josh Krichefski from UK COO to the UK CEO role, effective January 1, 2016. Current CEO Karen Blackett will become UK chairman.
And Jane Ratcliffe, who has been chairman, is being promoted into a regional role as VP and chairman of MediaCom Sport, EMEA.
Krichefski, an 18-year agency veteran, has worked in a variety of client-facing and specialist roles in both the UK and internationally including Initiative Media, St. Lukes, and Havas. He ran his own digital agency, K-word.
As CEO of MediaCom, Krichefski will oversee the agency’s management and daily responsibilities in the UK and Ireland. He originally joined the agency in 2011 as EMEA COO.

The newly promoted execs will work across MediaCom's offices in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Dublin.
MediaCom UK manages about $1.3 billion of advertising spend each year and employs over 1,000 people.
