U.K.-based programmatic ad platform Admedo announced on Friday that it secured a $6 million series B funding round led by MMC Ventures that will help the startup
continue its international expansion. The company has already been on a growth kick: In addition to its London headquarters, Admedo has
offices in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris and, soon, Dubai.
Admedo, which offers a demand-side platform and data-management platform, works with clients that include
Boots, Aer Lingus, Airbnb, Michael Kors, Tesco Bank and RB (Reckitt Benckiser).
In a release, Admedo CEO Nick Moutter said programmatic
"still has a long way to go," and that Admedo was created to "give the power back to the advertisers by lifting the lid on this proverbial black box.”
Founded
in 2013, Admedo raised $2 million round of Series A funding in 2014, Real-Time Daily reported. A year ago, Admedo acquired Dispop, a New York-based online
display advertising and retargeting firm.
