Leo Burnett Finds Susan Credle Successor In House

Leo Burnett USA has appointed Britt Nolan as the agency’s new Chief Creative Officer. Most recently he was EVP/Executive Creative Director at the agency.

Nolan succeeds Susan Credle who was hired last year for a new role at Interpublic’s FCB.

Leo Burnett CEO Rich Stoddart stated: “Throughout our extensive CCO search, Britt’s name kept coming up. He’s a business-minded creative who doubles down on integrated thinking and will create a new future for Leo Burnett.”

Nolan has served as the creative lead on Allstate, Firestone, Kellogg’s and The Art Institute of Chicago. Most recently, he rose into leadership roles on the McDonald’s and global Samsung accounts. In his new CCO role, he will continue leading the creative for McDonald’s and Samsung, while overseeing the Leo Burnett U.S. creative department and focusing on new business.

Nolan’s promotion is the second big job that the agency has filled recently. Last month it appointed Marcello Magalhaes of Leo Burnett Tailor Made in Brazil, to the post of U.S. chief strategy officer. He succeeded Mick McCabe, who was named global chief strategy officer for sister Publicis Communications agency, Publicis Worldwide.
