Publicis Media Reorganizes U.S. Leadership Team

Publicis Media is rearranging its U.S. leadership team in the wake of its previously announced companywide restructuring.

Kathy Ring has been named CEO, Starcom USA, succeeding Lisa Donohue, who was previously elevated to global brand president for Starcom. Ring has been with the network for more than 30 years, most recently as president, COO for Starcom’s Los Angeles office.

Sean Reardon is promoted to CEO, Zenith USA, while continuing to serve as CEO of Moxie, the digital marketing agency that is aligned with Zenith. Reardon replaces Lou Rossi, who moves into a new executive investment role across Publicis Media in the U.S. as chief investment officer, reporting to Dave Penski, CEO, Publicis Media Exchange, PMX.

Also, Sean Peters has been promoted to president Zenith USA, based in New York. And Jason Whiting has been named CEO of MRY. He succeeds Matt Britton, who becomes chairman.

Dan Mattei has been named CFO, Publicis Media Americas and Barbara Jobs has been appointed  chief talent officer, Americas.

These appointments follow previously announced U.S. leadership changes, including the shift of Chris Boothe to U.S. CEO, Mediavest/Spark and Dave Ehlers to  U.S. CEO, Optimedia | Blue 449.

Ring, Reardon, Penski, Whiting, Boothe, Ehlers, Mattei and Jobs all report to Tim Jones, CEO, Publicis Media, Americas.

These changes are the latest moves in Publicis Groupe-wide reorganization, which began last December.

“This strong roster of leaders will drive new levels of scale, business transformation and client value,” stated Tim Jones, who added the appointments will "deliver upon the promise of our organization — a modern approach to gain efficiency and introduce structures for greater collaboration and effectiveness.”
