Ad server and dynamic creative solution provider Flashtalking made two additions to its leadership team: John Ragals as SVP, U.S. client operations and Dan Rosler
as VP, platform operations. Ragals, who previously was COO at IgnitionOne, will lead client ops in his new post as the company
continues to expand business globally. Ragals' experience includes 360i during its acquisition by Dentsu Network, as well as Beyond Interactive, webloyalty.com and Modem Media. He
has worked on global accounts with Delta Air Lines, Enterprise Car Rental, H&R Block, JCPenney, Mattel and others.
"In some very
interesting and exciting ways, what’s old is new again, when it comes to creative tech,” Ragals stated. "Flashtalking very much sits at the leading edge of innovation on data-driven
creative systems and solutions -- and does so from a media-agnostic position."
Rosler comes from Rocket Fuel, where he was VP-professional services. His experience
includes Yahoo, PayPal and Adchemy. In his new role, Rosler will be responsible for the company's certification relationship with the Media Rating Council (MRC), client onboarding and
quality assurance for full- and self-service client solutions.
Ragals will be based in New York, and Rosler will be based in San
Francisco. Flashtalking recently launched a contest to illustrate new features for Dynamic Video, its video creative that customizes
according to audience segments, Real-Time Daily reported. Last
year, the company acquired German ad-tech company Device[9] and
hired Patrick DeAngelis as chief technology officer and John Haake as chief marketing officer. In January, Flashtalking acquired Encore Media Metrics for its attribution analytics.
