Maxus Bolsters Global Leadership Team

WPP media agency Maxus has promoted two executives to newly created global C-Level positions to better manage client ties and foster stronger talent recruitment efforts.

Dan Benedict is promoted to worldwide chief client officer, a perch from which he will continue to help develop both the expanding Maxus-Huawei relationship and parent company GroupM’s global L’Oréal account across 19 markets. He will also spearhead the Maxus Client Leadership practice. He joined Maxus as managing partner in 2014 from MEC where he was a global client lead.

Rudi Symons is promoted to worldwide chief talent officer role and will be responsible for developing the agency’s global talent base and workplace culture strategy across 55 markets. She came to Maxus in September 2015 as EMEA head of talent and culture.

Symons and Benedict join Pam Sullivan as new members of the global executive committee. Sullivan will continue her role as managing director of Maxus Los Angeles.

Maxus, part of WPP’s GroupM, employs around 3,000 people across 55 countries in 70 offices.
