It's Fall -- And, Like Clockwork, Advertising Week Begins

If there’s one thing you can count on like clockwork each fall, it’s Advertising Week in New York. This year there are hundreds of events sponsored by companies, trade organizations like the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the Mobile Marketing Association, and our own MediaPost. It's fast and frenetic, and there's always something to learn.

New this year is the Town Hall Series, which looks really cool. The Ad Week organizers have curated several high-profile speakers for two-hour sessions in which they’ll discuss the latest trends, Monday through Thursday, beginning at noon.Check the Ad Week schedule, a complex matrix, and the best way to consult it is by downloaded the Ad Week app.

Today’s session is called  “Storytelling in the age of Snapchat” with the CMO of General Mills and the chief strategy officer of Snapchat. 

Personally, RTBlog is looking forward to Wednesday’s Town Hall featuring Arianna Huffington, Bethenny Frankel ("Real Housewives of New York" and Skinny Girl brand), Mark Cuban, Hearst's Joanna Coles, Carolyn Everson of Facebook, and Lori Lee of AT&T.



But don’t miss OMMA Programmatic on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Pavilion, where we’ll be digging into all things programmatic and your own RTBlog writer will be chatting with Jonny Silberman of A-B/InBev about the company’s use of programmatic media.

Today at 2 p.m., a great program called “Programmatic Evolution” takes place on the Times Center Stage.

Of course, the IAB MIXX is going strong today and tomorrow.
