National Public Media Selects BuySellAds As Automated Sales Portal

BuySellAds, a provider of Automated Guaranteed programmatic inventory, on Tuesday announced that National Public Media (NPM), which handles corporate sponsorship for NPR and PBS, selected the company’s Self-Serve Direct product as its automated sales portal.

BuySellAds will help NPM improve its sales and operational efficiency by automating campaigns using a branded self-serve ordering platform. The goal is to enable NPM to increase its order volume without having to grow its sales team.

“The automated nature of BuySellAds has helped us open our funnel to long-tail brands who historically had budgets too small for us to engage with,” stated Brett Robinson, director of ad operations at NPM. “By giving these companies, and our sales team, access to a self-serve system with real-time availability forecasting, we can both maximize revenue and recapture inventory typically lost in the funnel process.”

BuySellAds offers geographic and category targeting, which will allow NPM to capture and automatically queue up campaigns across its network, no matter the size of the campaign.
