Index Exchange Makes 3 Management Hires Across Markets

Index Exchange on Monday said it expanded its management team with three newly created roles in the U.S. and the U.K. 

The ad-tech firm named Luke Fenney as VP, publisher development in London; Melissa Gallo, senior director, client services, in New York; and Ward Flock as managing director of the company’s West Coast region. The company said the new hires follow the addition of more than 100 employees in 2016 in six offices across the U.S., U.K., and Canada.

In his new role, Fenney will be tasked with developing and growing publisher relationships across EMEA, aligning with buy-side counterparts, and guiding the company’s in-market presence. He joins Index Exchange from Rubicon Project, where he most recently served as global VP of customer experience.

Gallo will be responsible for managing the client services team. She joins the firm from the Interactive Advertising Bureau, where she most recently served as senior director, product and oversaw programmatic and data initiatives for the IAB Tech Lab.

Flock will oversee the firm’s West Coast operations, including growing existing relationships with publishers, enterprise sellers and buyers and developing new ones. He has more than 20 years of ad tech and digital media experience and most recently served as senior director, publisher platforms at AppNexus.

Fenney and Flock will report to Alex Gardner, SVP, Partner Developmentt. Gallo will report to Steve Sullivan, vice president of Partner Success.
