Charleston-Based The Brandon Agency Acquires Charlotte-Based Artizen Studio

Over the years we've seen some nice work come out of Charleston-based Brandon Agency. This week the agency has announced the acquisition of Charlotte-based digital design firm Artizen Studio. It's the agency's fourth acquisition in three years.

The acquisition will hook The Brandon Agency up with Artizen clients, which include Dean Foods, snack maker Snyder-Lance, steel maker Nucor and S&D Coffee & Tea.

Artizen was established in the mid-1990s as an the external creative arm for brands' marketing and communications needs. They offer everything from print to video to app development. Artizen Owner and Creative Director Cary Murphy has moved into a new role at The Brandon Agency as the Regional President and Group Creative Director.

Of the acquisition, The Brandon Agency CEO Scott Brandon said, “Growth has been a major focus for the agency -- growth for our clients, our employees and our brand. Bringing on Artizen adds greater digital and creative firepower to our staff, as well as great clients to our roster. And, it provides an expanded presence in a city where we have been looking to grow our footprint.”

They offer all the resources that businesses need to win, and I’m excited to have them in Charlotte.”
