David&Goliath Reshuffles Leadership Team

David&Goliath (D&G) is reshuffling its leadership team as it continues to define itself as a “purpose-driven” agency.

Bobby Pearce, current ECD, is being promoted to managing partner, chief creative officer. Wells Davis is departing Leo Burnett to join as managing partner, chief strategy officer.

The two new managing partners will work alongside founder/chairman David Angelo and D&G President, Brian Dunbar based in Los Angeles.

Pearce and Davis are replacing CCO Colin Jeffrey and CSO Seema Miller, who, along with D&G chief digital officer Mike Geiger, have resigned to pursue another venture together.

In recent months, the 200-staff D&G has made a number of key hires and promotions, including Gustavo Sarkis as ECD for Kia; Judson Whigham as managing director for Jack In The Box; Kristen Knape has been promoted to group planning director and director of philanthropy; and Stephen Larkin was named as CMO.

In addition, D&G plans to elevate several other senior members in the coming weeks.

These changes coincide with D&G’s 17th anniversary.

"In our quest to elevate our purpose as a true challenger brand, we believe every person, product or company should live their purpose from the inside out," says Angelo. "Over the past year, we have launched a series of initiatives to help guide this quest – from launching the nonprofit Today, I'm Brave to our agency filter ‘The 10 Brave Ways,’ to the Bravehearts internship program.

"Aligning ourselves with the right people and brands will enable us to continue to live our truth from the inside out, while inspiring others to do the same.”
