Uber Self-Driving Car Initiative Misfires

The arrival of a fleet of self-driving Uber vehicles in Pittsburgh earlier this year was the biggest transportation story of 2016. Rather than build on that radically uplifting success in San Francisco, Uber has reverted to its old, tried-and-true way of advancing its business: playing chicken with the regulations and laws of cities, states, and even entire countries.
