Tim Ringel Named Global President, IPG's Reprise

IPG Mediabrands has appointed Tim Ringel global president, Reprise. In this new role at the agency, Ringel is tasked with leading the shop and expanding its search and digital services. 

According to the agency, Ringel will work with Craig Ellis, EVP, global head of operations, Reprise, to drive innovation and development of core product capabilities, and grow the client roster. 

Based in New York, Ringel will report into Henry Tajer, global CEO, and Chris Loll, chief operating officer, NA, IPG Mediabrands. 

“Over the last year, our network has invested heavily in building best-in-class products, recruiting top talent and expanding the global footprint of our specialty business units,” Tajer stated. “In hiring Tim, we are continuing this trend of building stronger, more innovative and dynamic business units to support and partner with our clients and our network.”

Ringel’s 20-year career has spanned Europe, North America and the Pacific. In 1999, he established analytics firm metapeople Group, which he sold to French digital agency Netbooster in 2011. At the time of the sale he became CEO at Netbooster Group, overseeing more than 500 employees around the world. 

In October 2016, Reprise won OMMA’s “Search Marketing” award for an SEM Campaign.
