SparkPost’s cloud-based email delivery service is now integrated with GMC Software’s customer communications platform, thanks to partnership announced Tuesday.
SparkPost’s
API will now be integrated into GMC Software’s Inspire Messenger platform, the company’s email communications service. Customers of GMC Software will now be able to leverage
SparkPost’s email delivery services and real-time analytics.
"Because SparkPost is designed API-first and is native to the cloud, it enables flexible integration of systems
and business processes," states Phillip Merrick, CEO of SparkPost. "Companies -- like GMC Software -- are able to collect, analyze and leverage the customer information that our real-time
data-driven email platform provides.”
The partnership is notable as GMC Software specializes in the insurance and financial services industries, two sectors that must maintain strict
email privacy and security due to the financial and personal information being shared. GMC Software powers a Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform that aims to help its clients increase
customer engagement with more relevant and timely messaging.
For now the integration will only be available for GMC Software’s customers based in the United States, but the
partnership has plans for international expansion in the future.
Built on Amazon Web Services, SparkPost is a cloud-based email delivery service and email infrastructure provider.
SparkPost has been growing rapidly and became a profitable company in 2016 after tripling cloud revenues year-over-year according to the company’s end of year report. SparkPost also grew its
cloud customer base to almost 20,000 users, signing companies such as Coursera, Snagajob and Workday on board.
The company’s client list also includes notable big name technology
companies such as LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Marketo and Comcast.
