Perrigo is naming Hometown as its global creative agency of record for its pain and skin portfolios. Skin was awarded via pitch and pain and Galpharm without a pitch.
The independently-owned
agency will take responsibility for five brands including skin care brand Dermalex, Perrigo's flagship pain brand Solpadeine and Galpharm. A small roster of agencies look after different brand
portfolios.
First up, Hometown will re-launch Dermalex in the UK with an integrated campaign to include TV, print and digital components. First work will debut March 17.
Founded in
1887 as a packager of generic home remedies, Perrigo has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer of OTC products and supplier of infant formulas for the store brand market.
