The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned a BMW ad for its top-of-the-range luxury saloon model, the M760Li xDrive. ASA agreed with a complainant that the tag line "Luxury Just Lost Its
Manners" coupled with a speed claim that "for some the climb to the top is quicker" could be seen as encouraging irresponsible driving.
