Barneys New York is featuring elements of the Lexus LC 500 in its newest Madison Avenue window display. 

The luxury retailer created the window installation, titled “Haute Pursuit,” as part of a year-long partnership with the luxury automaker. It features parts of the LC 500 juxtaposed with new arrivals from the men’s and women’s shoe and handbag collections at Barneys New York – highlighting brands including Balenciaga, Delvaux, Fendi, Fontana Milano 1915 and Loewe.

The LC 500 represents a new era of Lexus performance and design, said Brian Bolain, general manager, Lexus product and consumer marketing. 

“The craftsmanship and styling of the LC 500 make a bold statement, so launching a dynamic and striking window display on Madison Avenue was a perfect way to celebrate our newest flagship vehicle,” Bolain says in a release.  

The Barneys New York windows were designed to convey the Lexus LC 500’s elegance in design and superiority in craftsmanship. The southern window on Madison Avenue features the vehicle’s lightweight forged alloy wheels with a polished finish and gloss black accents; demonstrating a commitment to beauty and purpose.

The second Madison Avenue window, just south of the main entrance, highlights elements of the vehicle’s well-crafted interior, which includes an elliptical steering-wheel design, distinctive door panels, leather-trimmed shift knob and ambient light.

The third Madison Avenue-facing window houses components of the Mark Levinson’s Reference Surround Sound Audio System. Designed from the onset of the LC 500 engineering process, this sound system features exclusive timbre-match transducers and delivers a consistent and rich sound.

Lastly, the northern Madison Avenue window is a tribute to the exterior design of the coupe and features a to-scale cutout of the LC 500 complete with the avant-guard designed grille and triple-projector, ultra-compact LED headlights. 

The “Haute Pursuit” window installation will run through July 16.
