Gatesman Agency Acquires Noble Communications

Pittsburgh-based agency Gatesman has acquired marketing communications firm Noble Communications, which has offices in Chicago and Springfield, Missouri.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

The combined client roster from the two agencies spans various categories, including healthcare, food and retail, energy, financial services, higher education, home and building, and technology and services.

Clients include Michigan Ross School of Business, Rutgers, StarKist, Del Monte, Hormel Foods, SHOP ‘n SAVE, Thorntons Convenience Stores,  and others.

John Gatesman will continue in the role of CEO, with Shannon Baker as president, of the combined entity. The management team from Noble Communications remains in place as part of Gatesman.

Noble founder Bob Noble will continue to lead newsletter/website The Food Channel, which he also founded. It is not part of the acquisition. The Food Channel is not affiliated with cable TV’s Food Network.
