Intema Solutions Debuts Email Graphic Editing Tool

Intema Solutions Inc., an email technology vendor based in Montreal, has introduced an email graphic editing tool called Canvas.

Integrated in the company’s email marketing platform, eFlyerMaker, Canvas enables marketers to customize email newsletters, create written and visual content and launch campaigns, the company says.

The firm developed Canvas after customers expressed the need to create content without ever having to exit eFlyerMaker.

“Graphic design is to email what it is to advertising,” says Intema Solutions CEO Roger Plourde.”Visuals are the most convincing components of email campaigns.”

Canvas comes with a selection of 140 fonts and three editor modes: Drag&Drop, Classic WYSIWYG, and basic HTML.

According to the company, eFlyerMaker has been upgraded to include behavioral segmentation. This enables marketers to select segments automatically based on predefined activities.

This segmentation tool has been integrated with the firm’s artificial intelligence MatcherAnalytics predictive functionality.

The company has been around for ten years, and its email solution has been on the market for a little less than two. Most of its customers are outside of Canada, and many are U.S. companies, according to Plourde.

The email tool, a SaaS solution, is useful for companies of varying sizes.

“Being a Canadian company, we must be able to accommodate small and medium-size companies,” Plourde says.

But he adds: “Our email software has a module that uses AI with predictive algorithms; this feature is more useful to enterprise companies.”

Canvas will enable users “to simplify their work because they can create their email graphics right within the application,” Plourde states. “They can even export their graphic design to use it on other supports such as web and print.”

“The old saying of ‘a picture is worth 1000 words” stands for email,” Plourde continues. He adds that Canvas makes it possible to use images in email “without exceeding technology boundaries.”
