Sherry Smith Named CEO At WPP's Triad Retail Media

Ecommerce specialist Triad Retail Media, now part of WPP’s Xaxis, has appointed Sherry Smith as its new CEO. She succeeds Roger Berdusco, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities after serving for more than a decade.

Smith most recently served as Triad’s global chief customer officer, overseeing Triad’s client services, including sales, creative, content, operations and analytics. She is credited with building many of the firm’s important global client relationships, including ties with Walmart.com, Sam’s Club, CVS, Dollar General and Kohl’s.

She started at Triad in 2007 as vice president and general manager.

WPP acquired Triad last year in a deal The Wall Street Journal valued at $300 million.
