Empower: Shorter Name, New And Bigger HQ

Cincinnati-based media agency Empower has rebranded with a fresh look and shortened name (from Empower MediaMarketing). The rebranding coincides with its relocation to new and expanded facilities at a building in the city which  is owned by the agency.

The independent shop (and MediaPost’s 2016 media agency of the year) will occupy the building’s first three floors with 150 employees.

Named The Marketer, the building’s moniker signifies Cincinnati’s heritage as a consumer marketing capital. The building is located just north of the headquarters of three nationally known Fortune 500 companies (Kroger, Federated and P&G).

“We’ve engineered a future-focused office-space that is surrounded by urban core energy and the entrepreneurial spirit of the startup community,” stated Jim Price, CEO of Empower. “This atmosphere will influence the way our employees work and tackle client challenges and our people will undoubtedly contribute to the vibrancy” of its new neighborhood.

The new headquarters building is part of a broader redevelopment project in the Over-the-Rhine section of Cincinnati.

In addition to debuting a new logo, brand colors and collateral materials, Empower partnered with local vendors and companies for installations and offerings in its new space, including a custom coffee blend from local roaster Coffee Emporium, installations from a graphics company, a photographer and other local businesses.
