Just in time for the holiday shopping season Crate and Barrel has launched a new campaign with its newly recruited celebrity brand ambassador Reese Whitherspoon.
Developed with agency Preacher, the “Make this Season Merry and Just Right” creative features Witherspoon entertaining friends and family at home, accompanied by (what else?) Crate and Barrel products.
Starting this week ads are being placed across multiple digital and social platforms. TV spots will start running nationally later in October and continue through December.

The deal with Witherspoon also includes showcasing co-designed products with the actor’s lifestyle and fashion brand, Draper James during the holiday season and into next year.
Preacher was named Crate and B’arrel's AOR last year, succeeding incumbent TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles.
Crate and Barrel's ad budget was $6.70 million for the first six months of 2017, down from $10.67 million year over year, according to Kantar Media. Last year, the retailer spent $24.08 million on U.S. ads per Kantar.
