Noble People Hires Consultant Morrissy As Its First President

Noble People apparently liked his advice. The independent creative media agency is naming industry veteran Tom Morrissy to the newly created role of president. The hiring comes after Morrissy served as a consultant to the shop for six months.

He will be tasked with helping clients of the full-service media buying, planning and strategy agency navigate and leverage linear and digital opportunities.

Morrissy's 25-year career first started in the media business, serving as publisher of Entertainment Weekly. It was there he first formed a working relationship with Noble People cofounders, CEO, Greg March and COO, Lindsay Lustberg, who helped lead the media department at Wieden+Kennedy NY.

In 2008, Morrissy launched his own consultancy, Morrissy & Vine, where he advised C-level executives at media, tech and entertainment companies on new media innovation and overall growth strategies. For the past six months, Noble People has been among his consultancy clients.

"Brands and creative agencies are more frustrated than ever at the disconnect between the creative intent and the subsequent media strategies and executions currently being practiced by many large agency partners," he says. "Client customers and agency partners are "beyond thirsty" for innovative and impactful media solutions, and Noble People offers that."

Adds March: "Given his experience, hopefully he can even help prevent us from screwing things up along the way.”
