Zevia has become the first “natural” soda to partner on a movie tie-in with 20^th Century Fox.

The stevia-sweetened soda brand has released limited-edition cans featuring Ferdinand the bull and other characters from Fox Studios’ animated movie “Ferdinand,” set for release on Dec. 15. 

The characters are voiced by WWE star John Cena (Ferdinand), Kate McKinnon, Peyton Manning and Nick Jonas, among others. 

About 1.25 million cans, in four flavors (ginger root beer, grape, cream and black cherry), are now in some 20,000 U.S. stores, including Whole Foods, Target, Albertsons, Sprouts Farmers Market and other retail brands.  

Consumers who buy one of the six packs, priced at $5.99, by Jan. 18, can also submit their scanned receipts to get a $5-off coupon for the movie from Fandango.

Zevia is among the sponsors featured on the Fox site’s “Ferdinand” page.
