Snapchat continues to ramp up its content offerings. The company’s latest additions come from sports giant ESPN and late-night host Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco.
Snapchat’s first animated show, "Team Coco’s Comedy Club," turns stand-up comedy routines into a blend of live action and animation. New episodes will be released on
Sundays.
ESPN, meanwhile, will be bringing “SportsCenter” to Snapchat. The show, which will replace ESPN’s previous Snapchat channel, will be updated twice a day
on weekdays and once on weekends. It will be hosted by a rotating mix of hosts, including Katie Nolan, Elle Duncan and Jason Fitz.
The ESPN/Snap deal is for two years, and as with most
other partnerships, the two companies will split ad revenue.
