F&P Gobbles Up Hungry

Figliulo&Partners (F&P) is making its first acquisition with the purchase of digital and technology agency Hungry. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2014, the NY-based Hungry service offering includes strategy, web and app design and development, product and experience design and development, engineering as well as digital marketing, SEO and creative services.

Under the deal, Hungry founder Brady Donnelly will become F&P’s head of product, a new post, but will also retain his existing title as Hungry’s managing director. The Hungry brand name will remain. The agency's 12-person staff will remain intact and join F&P’s 55 full-time staff members in the agency’s New York office.

The agency will continue to work with its roster of clients, including brands like Sephora, Fast Company, Bacardi, Intel, Google and Samsung.

F&P sought the deal to enhance its digital and technical offerings. The two agencies have previously collaborated on client projects for Seabourn and Two Trees.

This acquisition follows F&P's decision earlier this year to launch a media and communications planning unit and hire Scott Vitrone as partner and chief creative officer.
