Cirrus Insight Expands Email Productivity Platform For Gmail Users

Cirrus Insight has rolled out a new version of its email productivity platform for Gmail users. The service was previously available only to those with Salesforce licenses, but can now be used by all Gmail account holders.

This follows Cirrus Insight’s November acquisition of Attach.io, an attachment-tracking platform.

“We’re now expanding our target market beyond the 10 million or so people who use Salesforce in an effort to serve more of the one billion active Gmail users,” states Brandon Bruce, co-founder and chief operating officer of Cirrus Insight.

Bruce adds: “We currently serve users in Gmail and Outlook as well as iOS and Android, all of whom use Cirrus Insight to connect to Salesforce.”

As it has with Gmail accounts, the company plans to begin supporting Outlook users directly in early 2018.

The platform allows users to see when recipients open their emails, create reusable email templates, send blasts to up to 500 people, set follow-up reminders and schedule future emails. In addition, users can build drip campaigns.

According to the company, Attach.io can determine which documents were viewed, what the pages visited were, the links that were clicked on and the amount of time spent on each page or slide.

Cirrus Insight services over 250,000 professionals and 5,000 organizations, including News Corp., Shopify and Girl Scouts,” Bruce adds. It is widely used by sales professionals and freelancers.
