Yahoo Mail users complained of service issues on Thursday. Posts published on Down Detector indicated that some account holders were not receiving emails, and that others were unable to answer them.

One post says: “Can’t receive emails since 12/12/17.” Another states: “Haven’t received any new messages since December 12, 2017.”

And another user writes, Does anyone know what is happening with the yahoo mail? I'm having many problems, very slow to access and then I can not answer the emails, I can only access the mailbox.”

The service issues did not appear to be widespread, although they apparently affected Yahoo Mail users in the Chicago area.
