Email security firm Cyren has debuted a cloud-based email archiving service that it says can facilitate regulatory compliance.

This capability is now part of the firm’s existing security platform. Cyren integrates email, web and DNS security, the firm says.

Gartner reports that “archiving as a service (aka SaaS) has rapidly surpassed on-premises archiving as the preferred deployment model for most organizations,” according to Cyren.

The offering includes functions that allow legal and risk management teams to quickly complete freedom of information access requests, the firm says. It also features tamper-proof storage.

Cyren specializes in cloud-based internet security solutions.
