Digital media and production company
Raze has named Mari Urdaneta as its senior VP and chief content officer. Urdaneta will be tasked with expanding the
company's long-form video offerings as it expands into over-the-top video platforms and television.
Raze, which launched in January 2017, was founded by TV executive Emiliano Calemzuk, actress
Sofia Vergara and Latin World Entertainment founder Luis Balaguer to reach bilingual latino users. It has largely focused on short-form content designed for mobile devices and social networks.
Urdaneta, who had been a producer on a number of Raze's original programs, will now be tasked with expanding the company's content to platforms with an emphasis on long-form programming.
