The Richmond Times-Dispatch has launched an email newsletter to keep Virginians informed about the 2018 General Assembly session.

The Virginia Politics Insider will hit inboxes around 7 p.m. each night. Its debut this week is in time for the start of the legislative session, the paper says.

Each issue will feature coverage of the day’s events by political columnist Jeff Schapiro and other members of the paper’s political team. It will include in-depth reporting on the state’s “robust political scene,” along with photos by photographer Bob Brown, the paper says.
