Sendwithus Moves Into New Headquarters, Plans To Expand Team

Sendwithus, the Canada-based email communications company, has moved into a new headquarters in Victoria, British Columbia following a recent $5 million Series A funding round, and plans to expand its local workforce.

The 5,364-square-foot headquarters will serve as the company’s technology hub. It is located in the renovated British American Trust Company building, which was built in 1912.

Brad Van Vugt, co-founder of Sendwithus, says the firm plans to “grow the Sendwithus Victoria team by another 30% to 40% in 2018.”

The expansion has been hailed as adding to the growth of the local technology industry.

“Greater Victoria's tech sector is now contributing more than $4 billion to our local economy due to its over 900 tech companies and their 15,000+ direct employees,” says Dan Gunn, executive director, Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council.

Sendwithus offers a cloud-basedcommunications management platform that helps firms realize their email potential, the company says.
