Epsilon/Conversant Taps Fagel To Lead Marketing

Industry veteran Jeff Fagel has been appointed senior vice president, head of marketing at agency Epsilon and its digital media arm Conversant.

Based in Chicago, he succeeds Tim Prunk as marketing head and reports to Bryan Kennedy, CEO Epsilon/Conversant.

The 20-plus year marketing vet was most recently chief marketing officer of Eyeview, where he helped position Eyeview as a leader in outcome-based personalized video marketing. Prior to Eyeview, Fagel was CMO for multiple brands acquired by Gannett Digital Ventures Group, the advertising technology services arm of Gannett (parent company of USA Today).

He spent the majority of his career on the client side in retail and CPG marketing posts at PepsiCo, Gatorade, Frito-Lay, ConAgra and Sears Holdings.

"I'm excited to add a marketing leader with deep data, digital, retail and brand experience to further differentiate the Epsilon and Conversant businesses from the competition,” stated Kennedy. “Today's marketers must provide a measured return in sales on every dollar they spend and Jeff understands this, having spent the majority of his career as a brand side marketer."
