Fullscreen, the digital branded video company owned by Otter Media, is entering the influencer marketing space.
The company announced that it has acquired Reelio, an influencer marketing platform that specializes in brand integrations, placements and services on YouTube.
Reelio CEO Pete Borum will join Fullscreen as part of the acquisition, as will all 50 of Reelio’s staffers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Reelio has raised nearly $8 million in multiple funding rounds.
Fullscreen, which also owns brands like the gaming-focused content studio Rooster Teeth, shut down its over-the-top streaming service last year, and announced that it planned to focus on branded video content and marketing services.
