Mimecast, the email security company, has appointed Christina Van Houten as chief strategy officer, a new title.
Van Houten is one of several recent additions to the firm’s
leadership team. Mimecast named Marc French as its chief trust officer and Janet Levesque as senior vice president of systems, risk and security for global oversight of the internal technology
application, security and risk teams, the company says.
Previously, Van Houten worked such firms as Oracle, IBM and Infor Global Solutions, and firms acquired by them: Netezza and ProfitLogic.
Prior to that, she worked for the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, DC City Government, US Treasury Department and on several political campaigns.
