CNN Digital Tops All Rivals In April In Audience Reach

CNN Digital reached 123 million unique visitors in the U.S. in April, surpassing its competition, per comScore Multi-Platform Media Metrix.

The runner-up was NYTimes.com with 94 million uniques, followed by FoxNews.com with 92 million, WashingtonPost.com with 88 million and USA Today with 65 million uniques.

The rankings are “based on CNN Brand entity compared to a custom list of single brand competitors in the News/Information Category,” according to a CNN statement.

CNN Digital also had 95 million mobile unique visitors, higher than NYTimes.com (74 million), WashingtonPost.com (68.8 million), FoxNews.com (68.7 million) and HuffingtonPost.com (51 million).

CNN Digital had more millennial multiplatform users than BuzzFeed in April; CNN Digital raked in 34 million millennials, versus the 28 million unique visitors that went to BuzzFeed.

Brands included in the rankings are CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, The New York Times, HuffPost, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, BBC News, BuzzFeed, ABC News, NPR, Mashable, The Daily Mail, NowThis, AJ+, Al Jazeera English, NBC News, CBS News, HLN and Yahoo News.
