European Parliament Committee Wants To Suspend Privacy Shield -- Unless U.S. Improves

The European Parliament's Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs committee wants to the U.S. to upgrade its privacy practices or face suspension of the trans-Atlantic Privacy Shield data transfer pact. In asking officials to take this action the committee has set a September deadline for the U.S. to comply.
