Validity, a firm that helps brands maintain data quality, has acquired BriteVerify, an email verification network that has served clients such as Oracle, MailChimp, Return Path, Marketo and
Salesforce, the firm announced on Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.
BriteVerify is “a bootstrapped, high-growth and very profitable SaaS company,” states Mark Briggs, CEO of
Validity. The company verifies 500 million email addresses per month, Validity adds.
This is Validity’s second such purchase. The first was CRMfusion, a provider of data quality
software.
BriteVerify will help Validity serve European clients that “continue to wrestle with the management of their GDPR obligations and strive for the best possible
communication experiences with their clients,” states Wayne Parslow, executive vice president, EMEA for Validity.
In another development, Validity recently named Mike Volpe, CMO of
Cybereason and former CMO of HubSpot, to its board of directors.
