The record EU fine over Google's Android system has been accompanied by record performance at the tech giant's parent company. Second-quarter revenue at Alphabet soared 26% to hit $32.7bn but with the
$5bn fine included, profit for the quarter dipped from just over $8bn to just over $3bn, the
BBC reports.
